When choosing a specialized HS, what strategy should I use to make the best decision?

When selecting a specialized high school based on student practice scores, the best strategy is to prioritize schools that align with the student's strength and interests.

It is also important to take into account factors such as location, extracurricular activities, and college placement success rates to make an informed decision. Schools should be ranked according to attainable scores, meaning that a school with a cutoff score above 500 should not be chosen if the student's practice scores consistently fall below 500.

Admission is only offered to students scoring above the cutoff for that year, and if all seats have been filled, then no further admission is possible.
